Summer is wonderful. I'm so much more relaxed and easy-going. I think Stephen likes "summer Meghan" a lot, particularly because of the clean house and warm dinners when he returns home from work. :)

Having time off gives me a lot of time with God. I'm learning so much. I was reading in the gospels when Jesus taught the disciples how to pray. I am realizing again how much dependence on the Father is emphasized in the prayer. Dependence for daily bread/needs, forgivness, deliverance from temptation or the evil one. The more I know Him, the more I know how much I am needy for Him. I am so thankful that He loves me.

Off to enjoy another sunny summer day! Yay!

Sick

So my first year of teaching is wrapping up. Yay!

It's been a challenging year, but so good and rewarding.

However, I have never been so sick! Those little monkeys have given me more illnesses than I've had combined in the last 15 years. Seriously. Hopefully, my immune system will be a bit stronger next year.

Anyways, off to clean and then hang out with family! :)
